Following our Farm theme, this week we have been learning about the life cycle of chicks.  We have our very own eggs in an incubator – the children were talked to about the life cycle and they watched the eggs being put into the incubator…now we are counting down the 21 days and hopefully we’ll have some little chicks hatching before our very eyes!

Other activities this week have included making our own chick life cycle pictures, chick fork painting, chick collages and making yummy chick biscuits.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the pj and slipper week – we are very grateful for the generous donations, which shall go towards our garden revamp.

For the next fortnight (w/c 30th April) we shall be learning about Pets.  If you would like to bring your pet to Pre School for a visit, please contact either Sherri or Donna to arrange a date & time.

Next week we shall also be painting pebbles as part of the ‘Kings Hill Rocks’ activity…please send a good sized pebble into Pre School with your child for them to decorate here, we shall then go out in small groups to hide the pebbles.
